Students

Welcome to the STEPS Student Page!

Are you looking to get involved with STEPS? Have friends that need community service hours or are interested in helping Southington become a better place for kids to live?

Here are 5 great options to get involved!

1. Join your school’s ABC team [Asset Building Classroom].
Each school within the Southington Public School System is proud to have an ABC Team!  By working with your school's ABC Team, you can work directly with teachers and school staff to promote the Assets of the Month. Students can help make posters, generate cool ideas for events and make new friends.  To join, just talk to your school’s ABC chairperson!

2. The STEPS Youth Council is another great option.
The STEPS Youth Council is an elite group of 30 students, ranging 6-12th grade. The council works together on large community projects and campaigns to make Southington a better and safer place for youth to live.
